5.8.3. Computation of Grades
5.8.3.1. The formula for the computation of grades for the midterm and final grades shall generally
be as follows:
Midterm = CS (2) + ME

Tentative Final Grade = CS (2) + FE

Final Grade = TFG (2)+ MG

5.8.3.2. Graduate programs. Computation of grades for the graduate programs shall be based on the
Graduate Programs manual.
5.8.4. The weighted percentage ratios for courses with laboratory shall be as follows:
5.8.4.1. units (2 lect., 1 lab) = 75% for lecture & 25% for laboratory
5.8.4.2. units (2 lect., 3 lab.) = 66% for lecture & 33% for laboratory
5.8.4.3. units (1 lect., 6 lab.) = 33% for lecture & 66% for laboratory
5.8.4.4. units (3 lect., 3 lab.) = 75% for lecture & 25% for laboratory
5.8.4.5. units (2 lect., 6 lab.) = 50% for lecture & 50% for laboratory
5.8.4.6. units (3 lect., 6 lab.) = 60% for lecture & 40 % for laboratory
Other conditions favorable to the student shall be left to the discretion of the instructor.
3.3.1.7 Research Requirements
Student of BSIT program requires to conduct a Capstone Project before being
declared as Graduate. The said requirement was included in the curriculum of
the BSIT program approved by the Board of Trustees. A BSIT student may
enrolled in Capstone Project 1 and Capstone Project 2 may conduct its research
