3) arteriolar constriction in the skin, Splanchnic
regions kidneys and inactive muscles ➔ ↓
blood flow to these organs
(2) metabolic Vasodilator metabolites (e.g lactate) accumulate in
activity of exercising muscle ➔ ↑arteriolar dilation➔ ↑ blood
skeletal flow ➔ ↑O2 delivery to muscle
