6) Hand Hygiene
Wash your hands with hand soap or use hand sanitizer randomly 2‐3 times throughout your
workday and before contact with “high touch” items or communal surfaces.
7) Vehicles
JPLI Team Members frequently come into contact with vehicles, including new deliveries, lease
returns, JPLI used inventory or Customer’s personal vehicle. Prior to entering the vehicle, disinfect
the surfaces with wipes or hard surface cleaner. If you are delivering a vehicle to a client, upon
arrival and exit of the vehicle, disinfect the surfaces with wipes or hard surface cleaner in order to
prepare it for the client.
8) Food in the Office
Avoid bringing in food to share with Team Members. If you use dishes in the Kitchen, wash them
and put them away after use or put them in the dishwasher. After you are finished, use wipes to
disinfect surfaces that you have come into contact with.
9) Duty to Self‐Report
You have an obligation to self‐report to Management immediately if (i) You are feeling ill or
symptomatic, (ii) You believe you have come into contact with someone who has been diagnosed
with, exposed to or is symptomatic of COVID‐19 or (iii) You have travelled to a high‐risk location
and/or outside of Canada.
You may be asked to self‐isolate and work remotely for 14 days before you are permitted to return
to the workplace.
10) Workplace Safety
JPLI is taking necessary measures to ensure workplace safety and to combat the spread of COVID‐
19. However, if for any reason you feel that our workplace is unsafe and do not wish to come into
the workplace, you are required to report the reasons to management. Your reasons will be
considered and a determination made whether you will be permitted to work remotely until the
issue can be reasonably addressed.
