Hello, Sun! From far away—
How I’ve missed your golden rays.
Where have you wandered so long,
Leaving the world shivering in shadow?

Welcome back, gentle friend.
You chase away the dark,
Spread warmth through the trembling air,
And remind us that hope still rises.

Sun, rise on time tomorrow,
Lift your light over fields and streets,
Touch the faces of the weary,
And coax a smile
From those who need it most.

With your return,
Even the smallest spark
Can grow into a blaze of joy.
Hello, Sun—shine on,
And let the world remember its morning.
