WABI-SABI (BEAUTY OF IMPERFECTION)
1.
Tall grass sways
in an unkempt city garden—
a quiet liberation.
2.
A lotus blooms
on a murky pond,
its smile untainted by the dirt.
3.
Monday to Friday,
morning to evening,
we run the endless race—
they call it freedom
in a “free” city.
4.
Wide, straight roads gleam,
people in sleek cars glide,
but hearts and minds
smothered under tar.
5.

hoarding for security?
Yet the birds never go hungry—
while people often do.
