I: (pauses, looking at the shirt) Perhaps… That’s why I want to throw it away. Can you imagine?
Something as innocent as a color bringing suspicion?
J: Don’t throw it. Maybe… it’s meant to make you think. Or others.
I: (slowly nods) You’re right. I’ll keep it. But I won’t wear it… I’ll mount it on the wall. Make it an
object of art.
J: (smiling) That’s good. Transform it. Take something that invites judgment… and make it
beautiful.
(I carefully mounts the shirt on the wall. Both step back, looking at it.)
I: There. Let it stay. People can see it and… think.
J: (quietly) Sometimes the simplest things teach the hardest lessons.
(Lights dim slightly, leaving the pink-blue shirt as a silent emblem of dignity and reflection.)
