e met in Nice in April
W 2018, where we inter-
viewed Laurence Navalesi (local
councillor in charge of inter-
national relations and private
schools) and Auguste Verola
(Vice president of the “Conseil
départemental”), about the food
situation in France. It turned
out that more organic products
are produced and consumed in
France compared to the other
European countries. The pe-
nultimate meeting took place in
Sweden when politician gave us
a lecture on European agricul-
tural policies, imports and ex-
ports and regulations on food.
Finally, the Portuguese MEP
Sofia Mendes de Sousa dis-
cussed the topic of food waste
and fish quota and gave us addi-
tional tips on healthy nutrition.
In the final meeting in Por-
tugal students developed a
letter about our 2-year Eras-
mus+-project and our ideas
for the future, which we sent to
politicians of our regions and
our MEPs.
