n Germany, participants in the Erasmus+-project went on an excursion
I to various important places in the region. These included an organic
farm in the Hennen district of Iserlohn, where we were able to observe the
production of local organic products, the Christmas market in Dortmund,
the Chocolate Museum in Cologne, where foreign pupils could familiarise
themselves with seasonal delicacies, and the historically important city of
Cologne with its iconic cathedral. At the organic farm it was possible to see
how cows are kept species-appropriately and how the life of the cow functions
as an meat- and milk-’producing’ animal.
The Causey Farm in Ireland enabled students to bake typical Irish bread, get
the feeling of farming in the form of a tractor ride and watch the production
of organic food on other farms.
