One could still enumerate numer-
ous fairy tales in which people talk
about food, but that would be far too
many to count.
To sum up, one can say that many
fairy tales have the same structure
but are written differently in de-
tail. Many storytellers, such as the
Grimm Brothers, use regional dish-
es, which are important in their
respective regions or countries, in
their fairy tales, depending on where
the tale came from. Numerous fairy
tales are also based on previous
narratives and were then reinter-
preted, reformulated and passed on
by travelers and travelling trades-
men, which may be an explanation
of why there are so many similarities
of fairy tales in Europe.
