Fairy Tales
here are a lot of fairy tales in which food plays an im-
T portant role. Some of the fairy tales are similar in all our
countries. The people of Europe have many socio-cultural and
cultural characteristics in common. In many regions of Europe
there are similar or matching contents in literature and art.
Some of these fairy tales are e.g.:
Snow-
White
In this fairy tale an apple is involved, or you could say it is the
trigger of the climax of the whole story. As the main character
Snow White bites into an apple a witch gave her, she swallows
on it and has to be kissed by a prince in order to be brought
back to life.
