Clinically significant interactions refer to a combination of therapeutic agents which
have direct consequences on the patient's condition.
Therapeutic benefit can be obtained from certain drug interactions, for example:
A combination of different antihypertensive drugs may be used to improve
blood pressure control
An opioid antagonist may be used to reverse the effect of an overdose of
morphine
