FIRST GENERATION NSAIDS:

• Ketorolac (ketolac®) is very potent NSAID and is
used for moderately severe acute pain that usually
requires narcotic.

• Ketorolac causes ulcers more frequently than other
NSAIDs. Therefore, it is not used for more than five
days.
