ACETAMINOPHEN (PARACETAMOL)

     Adverse reactions:

     ¨ In recommended doses, paracetamol is considerd safe. It does not
        irritate the lining of the stomach, affect blood coagulation much as
        NSAIDs, or affect function of kidneys.

     ¨ In some cases of over dose it causes hepatotoxicity.

     ¨ Methionine and N-acetylcysteine are effective antidotes for
        paracetamol poisoning.

     ¨ Paralex Plus® &Hepamol F.C® contain both paracetamol and
        methionine. For pts with hepatic problems
