How to solve the peak broadening problem?

1. Spherical column packing, producing
homogeneous stationary phase, are more
preferred than irregular packing.

2. Superficially porous packing (packing of
controlled surface porosity) are also
preferred to minimize band broadening due
to stagnant pools of mobile phase.

3. End-capped packing are of special value
when dealing with polar solutes.
