Medicinal Uses

Used internally as a gentle sedative to alleviate nervous tension, mild anxiety, and sleep
 disturbances such as insomnia. It can also help manage digestive discomfort associated
 with nervous conditions and may ease symptoms that occur during withdrawal from
 narcotic substances.

Contraindications

Animal studies have indicated that the plant may trigger uterine contractions; therefore, its
 use is not recommended during pregnancy.

Warnings

This product may induce drowsiness, which can reduce alertness and impair the ability to
 drive or operate heavy machinery.

Use During Lactation

Due to insufficient evidence regarding safety and effectiveness, nursing mothers should
 avoid use unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Drug Interactions

Concurrent use with benzodiazepines, barbiturates, or alcohol may enhance sedative
 effects due to their combined action on the central nervous system (CNS).
