Constituents:
- Flavonoids (Apigenin), and Coumarins.
- Low concentrations (<1.3 ppm) of furanocoumarins have been identified in
commercial celery (Furanocoumarin's concentrations are reported to rise in
diseased stems).
- Volatile oils provide the characteristic odour of the oil.
