Or virus +antiserum added to cell culture ---prevent cell
infection.

With Influenza virus attached to mucoprotein receptors

 of red blood cells-----cells agglutination.

Specific antiserum coats the virus , no combination with
RBCs.

Response of the Subject

1-Maternal antibody inhibition

50% of maternal antibodies are lost every 3 weeks.

The infants were recalled 10-12 months later .Responses to
reinforced dose: high maternal antibody titre at the time of
immunization--- complete inhibition of response,

Intermediate----some response.Low----no inhibitory effect.

(not with all infections).

2-Age of infant

Older children respond ---higher( gave antibody titres)
,gamma globulin appears 4th to 12th week of life ,reach
normal levels at least six months.

Young infant does not respond as well as the one-year-old
child.

Nature of the antigen

   1-ConcentrationDose-response relationship,for all
antigens in all animals , the more antigen given the
