               Non-radiative relaxation
1- Vibrational relaxation:
The molecule can give off some of its energy
from absorbed light by jumping to a lower
energy vibrational state. No light is given off.
2- Internal conversion:
The molecule moves to a lower energy
electronic state without giving off light. This
usually happens due to collision with other
   molecules.
3- External conversion:
The molecule gives off energy to an external
source, such as by collision with solvent
   molecules.
