humility and selfless service that made him worthy of becoming the Guru.
Guru Angad Ji got Baba Amardas Ji ready in new clothes and seated him on
the Guru Gaddi. He asked Baba Budha Ji to apply ’tilak’ on his forehead.
Then Guru Angad Dev Ji bowed before Guru Amardas Ji and said that he
was the Guru now”.
