The first Maharaja of Sikh Empire, Maharaja Ranjit Singh later built
Gurdwara Takhat Sri Patna Sahib, one of the Five Takhats at the site of
the house where Guru Gobind Singh Ji was born and lived for the first four
years of his life. Maharaja Ranjit Singh also built Takhat Sri Hazur Sahib in
Nanded at the place where Guru Ji left this world. A Gurdwara has also
been constructed there. It is known as Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sachkhand
Gurudwara.
