3. Put Hazuria (a long clean piece of cloth) around your neck and respectfully

take the Chaur Sahib in your hand.

4. Bow your forehead slightly towards Chaur Sahib, touch it to your

forehead and start waving it over Guru Sahib, from side to side. Do it slowly

and with love.

5. In your mind do Naam Simran, “Waheguru! Waheguru! Waheguru!”

6. When finished, hand over the Chaur Sahib to the next Sevadaar or place

it at the designated spot.

7. Matha Teko to Guru Granth Sahib Ji and ask for forgiveness for any

mistakes during the seva. Say thank you for granting you the seva.
