My Experience at Sri Hemkunt Foundation Symposium created a
vibrant atmosphere of cultural exchange, fostering deep
appreciation for the Global Sikh Community. The Hemkunt
Foundation Symposium is a prestigious event that captivates
children's minds worldwide, immersing them in the rich tapestry of
Sikh history, culture, and philosophy. With over 25 zones
participating, this symposium serves as a platform for young
learners to deepen their understanding of Sikhism and showcase
their knowledge and talents.

I had the privilege of participating in this remarkable event for
five consecutive years, and it proved to be an enlightening and
unforgettable experience. From the very first year, I was
captivated by the Hemkunt Foundation Symposium's spirit of exploration and learning. The local
competition at my Gurdwara provided the initial stepping stone, where I had the opportunity to
demonstrate my passion for Sikh history, culture, and philosophy. The competition became an
annual highlight for me, a chance to challe nge myself and continuously expand my knowledge.

As the years progressed, I witnessed my growth and development as a participant. The zonal
competition became more intense each year, with participants from various Gurdwaras within the
zone vying for the top honors. It was a challenging journey, but my determination and dedication
pushed me to perform my best. Through hard work and perseverance, I secured the first-place
title, earning the privilege to compete at the international level in 2013. It was an extraordinary
experience and an honor to represent my zone and stand alongside fellow participants who
shared the same passion for Sikhism. The international competition served as the ultimate test of
knowledge, skill, and eloquence. From 2013-2017, I competed at the international level. It has
instilled in me a lifelong love for learning, an unwavering commitment to my faith, and a sense of
responsibility to share the wisdom and teachings of Sikhism with others.

I had the opportunity to engage with participants from diverse backgrounds and learn from their
unique perspectives. It was humbling to witness the depth of talent and dedication among my
fellow participants, and it motivated me to continually push the boundaries of my own abilities.
Placing twice at the international level in 2015 and 2017 was an achievement that filled me with
immense pride and gratitude. It was a testament to the countless hours of study, preparation,
and practice I had invested. The recognition bestowed upon me validated my commitment to Sikh
history, culture, and philosophy. Beyond the trophies and accolades, the Hemkunt Foundation
Symposium left an indelible mark on my personal growth and identity. The symposium nurtured a
sense of pride in my Sikh heritage. The experience instilled in me a deep-rooted understanding of
the values and principles that Sikhism embodies—equality, compassion, and selfless service to
humanity. The symposium has become an integral part of my journey, and the memories and
friendships forged during those years will forever hold a special place in my heart. The Hemkunt
Foundation Symposium continues to inspire generations of young Sikhs worldwide. It serves as a
testament to the power of education, unity, and cultural exchange. By nurturing young minds and
instilling a sense of pride in their identity, this symposium paves the way for a brighter and more
