            Students reach their hands up high and snap their fingers, then slowly lower their
                      hands as they snap their fingers to mimic the sound of rain falling.

                                Kaale badal, garjde badal, kaale badal le aaeiaa
            Students waive their hands in the air to represent the black clouds moving in. For
               the “garjde badal”, students slap their hands on their thighs or the ground to

                                             mimic the sound of thunder.

                             Chhatrii kholo, boot paa'u, chalo saare bahaar chaliye
                        Mih vich nach ke, paani vich kood ke, ral ke thori masti kariye!
             Students pretend to open their imaginary umbrellas, put on their imaginary rain
             boots, pretend to dance in the rain and jump in imaginary puddles as they recite
                                                      the last part.
