                  Precautions

There are several precautions that should be taken when using a hot air oven:

              1. Wear protective equipment to protect your hands from the heat.

              2. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

              3. Do not overheat materials: Overheating materials in a hot air oven can cause

them to catch fire or release harmful fumes.

              4. Keep flammable materials away from the oven.

              5. Keep the oven clean: to prevent a buildup of dirt or debris that could potentially

                  catch fire.

              6. Keep Dry: Ensure the goods stored in the hot air oven for sterilization are dry.

              7. Powders sterilized by hot air oven must be in shallow layers (small volume)
