transfer of heat from inside the device to the outside and maintain the internal
temperature.
➢ Chamber: The chamber is completely made of aluminum or stainless steel

Precautions
There are several precautions that should be taken when using a hot air oven:
1. Wear protective equipment to protect your hands from the heat.

3. Do not overheat materials: Overheating materials in a hot air oven can cause
them to catch fire or release harmful fumes.
4. Keep flammable materials away from the oven.
5. Keep the oven clean: to prevent a buildup of dirt or debris that could potentially
catch fire.
6. Keep Dry: Ensure the goods stored in the hot air oven for sterilization are dry.
7. Powders sterilized by hot air oven must be in shallow layers (small volume)
