                      2-  Chemical indicators
                      •  Uses sensitive chemicals that change color when exposed to high
                         temperatures or combinations of time and temperature.
                      •  Chemical indicators are single-parameter and multiparameter.

                      •  These can be external or internal indicators
                      •  ISO 11140-1:2014 classifies chemical indicators for autoclaves and
                         sterilizers as follows
