NOSTALGIA

                                      Ex-Management Trainee (MT) Training Experience

First of all, I would like to thank TTC for giving me this opportunity. We, the
Management Trainees of 41st batch joined this prestigious organization of national
importance at a very young age of early 20s.

After completion of 2 weeks of induction at HMA, we were received at TTC by
Abhishek sir whose warmth made us feel at home even when we were far away from our
homes. On our first day at TTC, exact 5 minutes before the official working time, we met
respected TVSSAN Murthy sir, ex-defense personnel with a multifaceted personality,
Kumar Sir and TTC staff. We were received with warmth and after completing basic HR
related formalities, a familiarization programme of 2 weeks was arranged by TTC.

For me, stepping into HAL for the first time is a life time memory. First, I visited PCB
finishing section where my maternal uncle Sri.D.Gopal spent his considerable service years.
Since childhood I have been listening about PCB finishing section from him.
The whole factory looked at us with awe and respect since we were a handful of engineers
recruited by HAL as management trainees through stiff all India competition and may be
also because we were dressed a bit formally.

After familiarization, our departments were allotted and TTC supervised and facilitated
our ‘On the job training (OJT) ’ module. During the course of our OJT, technical classes
were also arranged at SLRDC auditorium and TTC class room where senior officers of the
division shared their knowledge and vision. Here, we could experience the experience of the
                  experienced!

TTC was also instrumental in coordinating basic management module at HMA & other
sister division visits (Nasik and Lucknow, in my case).
TTC also coordinated the final project, conducting the Common Test and the final
                  assessment.

I humbly thank Cdr. TVSSAN Murthy sir & team for helping us in every possible way
and our entire batch cleared all the modules with flying colors.
Finally TTC coordinated the convocation of 41st batch MTs and we were awarded with
confirmation letters to serve this esteemed organization.

                                                                27
