The possible values for each segment of the account. For example, the Cost Center segment
has the values 1050, which represent Human Resources, and 4620, which represents
Global Clinical Operations.
Segments
Individual values that make up the Key Flexfield Value in Oracle.
Selling, General & Administrative (SG&A)
The sum of all selling, marketing, general and administrative costs.
Senior Sales Director (SSD)
Field Sales Director overseeing Regional Directors (RD) in respective region.
Serious Adverse Event (SAE)
An Adverse Event that either: requires or prolongs hospitalization, causes disability or
incapacity, is a congenital anomaly or birth defect, is life threatening, medically significant,
or causes death.
Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Agreement where certain aspects of service are determined, including scope, quality,
delivery time, and responsibilities.
Share of Voice (SOV)
Measures how a company is performing relative to its competitors and relative to all
communication methods.
Shareholder
Any person, company, or other institution that owns at least one share in a corporation or
mutual fund. Also called a stockholder.
Shares Outstanding
The shares of a corporation’s stock that have been issued and are in the hands of the
public. Also called outstanding stock or outstanding shares. This number is also shown on a
company’s balance sheet under the heading “capital stock.”
