Function within Human Resources (HR) responsible for finding and acquiring skilled human
labor for organizational needs and to meet any labor requirement.
Tax Cube
Reporting application that has the Tax calculation model to determine tax rates and results
(highly structured and secured write capability of tax calculation drivers). Pulls from GL and
PA module.
Taxes
This is the amount the company has paid or expects to pay in taxes for the period. It
includes all taxes to all jurisdictions.
Temperature Excursion (TE)
A deviation from the storage temperature requirements for IMP.
Technical Product Complaints (TPC)
A global department at Biogen responsible for receiving and investigating alleged clinical
and commercial product quality issues reported internally (e.g., Biogen employees) or
externally (e.g., patients, complainants). North America TPC (DL-TPC-US@biogen.com) is
located in Cambridge, Massachusetts and is accountable for reports received from US and
Canada. International TPC (TPC-INTL@biogen.com) is located in Zug, Switzerland and is
accountable for receiving reports from the international markets.

Terminal Value
Also known as continuing value. A Discounted Cash Flow analysis is typically made up of an
explicit forecasting period, the period during which cash flows are estimated for each
individual year, followed by a terminal value. The terminal value represents the present
value of future cash flows into perpetuity at a constant growth rate and discount rate.
Consumer products that grow at a relatively constant rate may have a higher terminal value.

Employees who have terminated their employment contract with the company
