Case #3:

                                   Blanks

                     • Converting a revolver to NLTA
would disallow the use of traditional
blanks (top right) as the case
dimensions are the same as live
                       ammunition (top left).

                     • Converting a revolver to fire only
                       NLTA requires installing safety rings
into the cylinder. This prevents the
                       loading of live ammunition or
                       traditional blanks as the NLTA
                       rounds have a shorter case.

                     • The safety rings are included with
                       the NLTA ammunition (Free).

                                                      Case #3:

                                           Police Training Accidental Death

I was not involved with this case, however my opinions are as follows:
                     • The Punta Gorda Police Dept had a duty of care to Mrs. Knowlton.
                      • Mrs. Knowlton was a guest and volunteer.
                     • There were no redundant safety protocols followed:
                      • No self, buddy or instructor pat downs or searches.
                     • Failure to maintain positive control of training ammunition.
                     • Failure to maintain positive control of training weapons.
                     • Failure to maintain positive control of the training environment.
                     • The only person wearing any PPE was Officer Cole?
                     • 0 of all 4 rounds fired directly struck Mrs. Knowlton, suggesting Officer Cole was firing faster than his skill or ability would allow and/or faster
than he could process the environment.
