attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self... in true right-
eousness and holiness. (Ephesians, 4:21-24)

So I say, live by the God's Spirit, and you will never fulfill the de-
sires of the flesh. (Galatians, 5:16)

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature:
sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which
is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used
to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must
rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slan-
der, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other,
since you have taken off your old self with its practices... (Colos-
sians, 3:5-10)

For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die [go to
hell]; but if by the Spirit of God [for the approval of God] you
put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live [go to
paradise]. (Romans, 8:13)
