But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for
doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing
good and you endure it, this is commendable before
                         God. (1 Peter, 2:20)

Therefore, as God's chosen people [faithful servants],

holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compas-
sion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
                         (Colossians, 3:12)

But because of your stubbornness and your unrepen-
tant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for
the day of God's Wrath, when His righteous judgment
will be revealed. God "will give to each person accord-
ing to what he has done." To those who by persistence
in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, He
will give eternal life [in paradise]. But for those who
are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow
evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trou-
ble and distress for every human being who does evil...

but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does
                         good... (Romans, 2:5-10)

I myself am convinced, my brothers, that you your-
selves are full of goodness, complete in knowledge
and competent to instruct one another. (Romans, 15:14)

Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I am full
of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what
is good, and innocent about what is evil (Romans,
                         16:19)
