Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. (Ro-
                 mans, 12:14)

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Any-
one who does what is good is [the one who acts in compliant
with the approval of God] from God... (3 John, 1:11)

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward
love and good deeds. (Hebrews, 10:24)

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all peo-
ple, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
                 (Galatians, 6:10)

[Jesus:] "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do
good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray
for those who mistreat you." (Luke, 6:27-28)

[Jesus:] Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes
what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as
you would have them do to you. "If you love those who love
you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who
love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you,
what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' do that... But love
your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without ex-
pecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great...

                 (Luke, 6:30-35)

"No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good
fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not
pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. The good
man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart,
and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in
