Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old
yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with bread
without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth. (1 Corinthi-
ans, 5:8)

And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, en-
courage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but al-
ways try to be kind to each other and to everyone else. Be
joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circum-
stances, for this is God's will for you... (1 Thessalonians, 5:14-
18)

Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of
evil. (1 Thessalonians, 5:21-22)

Who have wandered away from the truth; they say that the
resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the

faith of some. Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands
firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those
who are His," and, "Everyone who confesses the name of
the Lord must turn away from wickedness." (2 Timothy,
2:18-19)
