In societies where people do not adhere to the values of Islam, grief, sorrow, stress,
trouble, anger and distress become part of people's daily lives. The fact is, however,
that everything occurs under the control of Allah. For people who believe in this fact,
nothing is actually evil. Everything turns into goodness for them. Unbelievers, on the
other hand, will understand the meaningless of those events over which they feel
grief or rage when they meet death.
… It may be that you hate something when it is good for you and it may

be that you love something when it is bad for you. Allah knows and you do
not know. (Surat al-Baqara: 216)
