The Order and Cycle in the Waters
How great is God... He draws up the drops of wa ter, which dis -
till as rain to the streams; the clouds pour down their mois ture
and abun dant show ers fall on man kind. (Job, 36:26-28)
When He es tab lished the force of the wind and meas ured
out the wa ters, when He made a de cree for the rain and a
path for the thun der storm... (Job, 28:25-26)
As the rain and the snow come down from heav en, and do
not re turn to it with out wa ter ing the earth, and mak ing it
bud and flour ish, so that it yields seed for the sow er and
bread for the eat er... (Isaiah, 55:10)
When He es tab lished the clouds... when He gave the sea its
bound a ry so the wa ters would not over step His com mand,
and when He marked out the foun da tions of the earth.
(Proverbs, 8:29)
They flowed over the moun tains, they went down in to the
val leys, to the place You as signed for them. You set a
bound a ry they can not cross; nev er again will they cov er the
earth. (Psalms, 104:8-9)
All streams flow in to the sea, yet the sea is nev er full. To
the place the streams come from, there they re turn again.
(Ecclesiastes, 1:7)
