O God; on the ten-
stringed lyre I will
make mu sic to You.
Deliver me and res cue
me... bless ed are the peo -
ple whose God is the Lord!
(Psalms, 144:1-15)
I will ex alt You, my God, I will praise Your name for ev -
er and ever. Every day I will praise You and ex tol Your name for
ev er and ever. Great is the Lord and most wor thy of praise; His
great ness no one can fath om. One gen er a tion will com mend Your
works to an oth er; they will tell of Your mighty acts. They will
speak of the glo ri ous splen dor of Your maj es ty, and I will med i tate
on Your won der ful works. They will tell of the pow er of Your awe -
some works, and I will pro claim Your great deeds. They will cel e -
brate Your abun dant good ness and joy ful ly sing of Your right eous -
ness. The Lord is gra cious and com pas sion ate... The Lord is good
to all; He has com pas sion on all He has made. All You have made 42
will praise You, O Lord; Your saints will ex tol You... The eyes of all
hope in You, and You give them their food at the prop er time. You
open Your hand, 43 and sat is fy the de sires of ev ery liv ing thing.
The Lord is right eous in all His ways and lov ing to ward all He has
made. The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on
Him in truth. He ful fills the de sires of those who fear Him; He
hears their cry and saves them. The Lord watch es over all who love
Him... My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord. Let ev ery crea ture
praise His ho ly name for ev er and ev er. (Psalms, 145:1-21)
