Stand outside the main rotor disc and enter in a crouch only
when the pilot signals, i.e. gives the thumbs up sign. Look out
for aerials and pitot tubes, which can be heated and are easily
damaged. Do not stand in front of the helicopter just prior to
takeoff as it will need to achieve a forward speed right where
you are standing.
