Dhara (Earth)- Green
Dhara or Chi (sometimes ji), meaning ‘Earth’, represents the hardiness,
solidness of the Earth. Dhara is predominantly associated with
collectiveness, stability, physicality, and gravity. It is a desire to have things
remain as they are. When under the influence of Chi, we are aware of our
own physicality and sureness of action.
Varuna (Water)-Blue
Varuna or sui meaning ‘Water’ represents the fluid, flowing things in the
world. Varuna represents blood and other bodily fluids as are mantle of
emotional tendencies towards adaptation and change. Varuna stands for
adaptability, flexibility, suppleness, and magnetism.
Idana (Fire)-Red
Idana or Ka, meaning ‘Fire’, represents the energetic, forceful and moving
things in the world. Bodily, Idana represents our metabolism and body
heat; and in the mental and emotional realms, it represents drive and
passion. Idana is associated with security, motivation, desire, intention and
outgoing spirit.
Ambar (Sky)-Yellow
Ambar or Ku meaning ‘sky’ of ‘Heaven’, represents those things beyond
our everyday experience, particularly those things composed of pure
energy. Bodily, Ambar represents spirit, thought, and creative energy. It
represents the ability to think and to communicate, as well as our
creativity. It also stands for power, creativity, spontaneity, and
inventiveness.
