These skills and competencies will enable
them to cope up with the demands of later schooling and life in general.
Children are encouraged to explore, enquire and take risks in an interactive
hands-on environment which includes the use of interactive smart boards,
computers, as well as dedicated high quality outdoor learning areas. Our
Kindergarten staff comprises a caring team, which includes full-time
teachers, Early Years Educators and assistant teachers. The theme-based
learning brings in full excitement and keeps them fully engaged and happy.
EARLY YEARS (Pre- Nursery to KG)
Transitions for First time and new students
When the child comes to school for the first time, he or she may need
some help in adjusting. Please plan on spending the first ten to fifteen
minutes with the child helping to familiarize him or her with the new
setting. Once you have familiarized your child with the classroom and you
are ready to leave, kindly do not linger from where your child can see or
hear you. A crying or clinging child usually stops soon after the family
member moves out of sight.
Every child is different as is every parent and we will work together with
you to make sure that the transition into the school is a pleasant
experience for you both.
Please avail parents’ lounge where you can wait while your child settles
into the class. We know this is a trying time for you and we appreciate you
in allowing our experienced staff to welcome your child into the world of
school and to GMA!
Toilet Training
Children who are in the Early Years are encouraged to
be toilet trained. We would like to work with you
on toilet training if your child is not yet ready.
