FOUNDATIONAL STAGE CURRICULUM (Pre-Nursery to Grade II)
Foundational Stage curriculum has been designed as per the NEP 2020
ensuring that all the learning areas should be integrated and taught
through play-based, inquiry-based, and activity-based approaches. The aim
is to provide a holistic and engaging learning
experience that meets the diverse needs of the
children in their foundational years. The
Experiential Learning experiences in
Foundational Literacy and Numeracy will focus
on strengthening the child’s skills of
● Reading, Writing and Speaking.
● Counting, Arithmetic and Mathematical
thinking.
● Communication and Collaboration
skills.
The curriculum content emphasizes on
acquiring skills and competencies which
cover the domains like
• Personal, Social & Emotional
Development
• Literacy
• Communication and Language
