Lochearnhead to Stirling via Strathyre

This touring route will take you through the Strathyre region and down the eastern edge of
the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park to Glasgow or Stirling.
Along the way you can take a side trip to lovely Lake Katrine. And you can if you wish, take a
diversion to Lake Lomond.

This is very easy. From where you turned l. on coming in to Lochearnhead, follow the A84 all the
way back to Stirling. The first 15 miles will be through the beautiful Strathyre Forest.
0.0 mi 56.3853, -4.2874 At the i/s of the A85 and the A84 in Lochearnhead take the A84 south s/p
“Callander / Stirling / A84”.
Follow the A84 around the shores of Loch Lubnaig to Callander.
Feeling peckish in Callander? The fish and chips at Mhor Fish on the left of the main road are
highly recommended.
