                                           Chicken or Turkey ala King


                                                           Serves 4



                                                    1/2 cup diced onion

                                                1/2 cup diced green pepper

                                            2 tablespoons butter or margarine

                                1 small can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup

                                                1 soup can of water or milk

                                          Chicken base or bouillon cubes to taste

                                     1 small can of mushrooms or fresh mushrooms


                                            1/2 pound chicken or turkey diced

                                                 Red peppers or pimentos


                         1.  Sauté onions, peppers, and mushrooms in butter until tender.

                         2.  In double boiler, place soup, milk, and chicken bouillon cubes.

                         3.  Mix in meat, onions, green peppers, mushrooms and red peppers.

                         4.  *You may want to add a little thickener to it.

                         5.  Serve over toast, biscuits or puff pastry.
