East Midlands League
With Mansfield Town not in action, Peterborough Utd replaced them as leaders of the
Premier Division as they shared a 2-2 draw with Woodlands Ladies. Woodlands twice went
ahead during the course of the game through Katie Mayfield and Jody Scott, with Piper O'Neill and
Kier Perkins equalising for the Posh Ladies on each occasion. Four teams sit one point off the pace
and this now includes Rotherham Utd after they defeated Rise Park 6-2, thanks to a Nat Shaw
hat-trick, Amy Pollock, Bradie Wild and Nicole Cooper. Ollerton Town also notched up their
third victory of the season, 4-2 away to Leicester City Ladies with strikes from Shoniqua Barnes
(2), Cala Thornton and Shanice Etherington.
An injury time goal from Beth Smyth gave Chesterfield a 1-0 win away to Grimsby
Town and took them three points clear at the top of Division One North from Lincoln
Moorlands Railway who were beaten for the first time, 1-0 by Arnold Eagles whose
goalscorer was Amelia Hall. Lincoln Utd are now in second place following their 6-1 victory over
St Josephs Rockware of Worksop, Abigail Murrell netting twice along with Lauren Churcher,
Tracey Duxbury-Mead, Sally Cairns and Holly Newman. Abbey Young grabbed the only goal of the
game as Sleaford Town beat Notts County Development 1-0.
Derby County Academy are the new leaders of Division One South after they defeated
Coalville Town Ravenettes 4-0, Anya Bourne bagging a brace with Isabella Mauro and Juliet
Hilton adding the others. Ilkeston Town are up to second following their 3-2 victory over
Beaumont Park with goals from Sophie Bain, Hayley Brown and Millie Huckle. Katie Stone,
Hannah Thompson and Frederika Masele Ntumba were all on target as Loughborough Foxes
Vixens won 3-0 against AFC Leicester.
Eastern Region League
After going down to their first defeat of the season seven days earlier, Wymondham Town have
picked up the pace again and are five points clear in the Premier Division following their 2-1
victory over Peterborough Northern Star, who had started the day in second place, Chelsea
Clarke scoring both goals for Wymondham. St Ives Town are now second, they defeated Bowers
& Pitsea 5-0 with Ruth Fox (2), Georgia Stancombe (2) and Hannah Seymour-Shove on target.
Nicola Puddick hit a hat-trick and Mia Pinkham the other as Colney Heath edged out Bedford
Ladies 4-3. Grace Birchall (2) and Laura Dawson were the scorers for Wroxham as they shared
a 3-3 draw with Harlow Town, who replied through Tayla Handscombe, Ellie Manning and
Frances Gamble. Royston Town meanwhile recorded their first victory, 7-3 against AFC
Dunstable thanks to Georgia Miller (2), Samantha Edgar, Yasmin Pratt, Charlotte South, Sydney
Graham and Joely Kirby.
King's Lynn Town are the new leaders of Division One North after winning the top of the
table clash 3-1 against Cambridge City Development. Needham Market won for the first
time, 5-0 away to Newmarket Town courtesy of a Lois Balfour double, Nia Evans, Mia Etheridge
and Amber Sparkes.
Abbey Dell netted twice along with Shannah Drewe and an own goal as Millwall
Lionesses defeated Stevenage Women Development 4-1 to go top of Division One South.
AFC Sudbury won 4-0 at East Bergholt Utd thanks to Evie Creaton, Megan Partridge, Rebecca
Stephenson and Amy Thompson to leave themselves one point off the pace, whilst Wodson Park
were beaten for the first time, 2-0 by Leigh Ramblers whose markswomen were Georgia
Holdaway and Beth Cooper.
Hutton went through to the Second Round of the League Cup with a 3-2 victory away to
Histon. Vicky Kinsman netted a brace for Histon and Hayley Piggott was also on target, with
Flora Snelson and Molly Blair replying.
London & South East League
One match was played in the Premier Division and it resulted in a change of leadership, Dulwich
Hamlet taking over at the top by winning 2-0 away to Aylesford, thanks to Roisin Stone and an
own goal.
