In the only match to be played in the Northern Division, Oldland Abbotonians climbed
up into second place with a 2-0 victory against Cheltenham Town Development, Bryony
Higgs and Sarah Robson scoring the goals.
Forest Green Rovers remain five points clear at the top of the Eastern Division following
their 3-2 win against Swindon Town Development. Doris Greenwood, Holly Thomas and
Ashleigh Watson were on target for Rovers, with Honor Fraser and Natalie Goodright replying.
Frome Town continue to lead the chase in second place as Mae Bristow, Keira-Leigh Underhill
and Stacey Hill gave them a 3-0 victory over Swindon Supermarine. AEK Boco meanwhile
went third when they beat Swindon Spitfires 4-0 thanks to Sarah Cooper, Lara Ferris, Shania
Powell and Jessica Titcomb.
AFC St Austell have opened up a lead of three points in the Western Division with a 5-2
win against Alphington. Charlotte Whitmore led the scoring for St Austell with a four-goal haul
and Chevonne Johanning also on target, with Helen Kukor netting both goals in reply.
Southern Region League
Abingdon Utd moved into top spot in the Premier Division with a 3-0 victory over Ascot Utd
in which Nell Boxall, Lauren May and Molly Lygo-Jackson all scored. Woodley Utd had started
the day on top of the table but were beaten 3-0 by Wycombe Wanderers whose markswomen
were Samantha Jackson, Steph Mobbs and Lindsay Parker. Hannah Bennett and Molly Clark each
scored hat-tricks as AFC Bournemouth CST opened up their season with an eleven-goal victory
against Oxford City. Maisy Smith, Becky Barron, Helen Corbin, Lily Humes and Larrisa White
weighed in with the other goals for the Cherries.
Southampton Women Res preserved their two point lead in Division One by beating
Abbey Rangers 10-1. Sophie Lee hit a hat-tricks and there were braces from Fay Roberts and
Jade Hockey with Emily Wernham, Lucy Mear and Paris Payne completing the scoring.
Bournemouth Sports replace Abingdon Town in second place after winning their meeting
5-4 with Hollie Shaw, Sarah Plummer, Lorna Priestley, Justine Mosley and Amber Madkour all on
target. Chloe Ball (2), Lara Althorp and Charlotte Comley all replied for Abingdon. Catherine
Browning and Tiffany Newland gave Eastleigh a 2-1 victory over New Milton Town and AFC
Bournemouth CST Development were 5-0 winners away to Tilehurst Panthers thanks to
Ayuma Asira, Grace Morgan, Daria Jesionowska, Emily Trim and Rosie Nicklen.
West Midlands League
A 5-0 victory away to Redditch Utd has taken Solihull Ladies Utd to the top of the Premier
Division, Saddiqa Shan and Laura Smith each scoring twice along with Anna Robinson. They head
the table by two points from Leek Town for whom Chantelle Gallagher netted both in their 2-2
draw with Sutton Coldfield Town, who had taken a two-goal lead through Hayley Chatwin and
Niamh Deasy. Joanne Ryan (2), Abbie Hartfield and Alex Shilton accounted for the goals as
Coventry Sphinx defeated City of Stoke 4-1 to go third. Stockingford AA Pavilion are off
the bottom of the table after Catherine Smith scored the only goal of the game in their 1-0 success
away to Lye Town.
AFC Telford Utd stay on top of Division One North after Katie Ryan and Darel Tidman-
Poole gave them a 2-1 win over Shrewsbury Town, who had led through Madison Jones.
Tamworth still lead a trio of teams on their heels, Olivia Woolston scoring in their 1-0 win over
Wyrley Ladies, whilst Shifnal Town beat Coventry City 5-1 thanks to a Rebecca-Lee Bown
hat-trick, Jenna Boddison and Sian Bonner. Stoke City Development edged out Sandwell
Ladies 3-2 for a fourth straight win, Lily Jackson netting twice along with Hannah Johnson. Port
Vale moved themselves closer towards mid-table when scoring six without reply past Walsall
Ladies.
Division One South table toppers Solihull Sporting notched up their fifth victory in a
row, 7-1 against Rugby Town. Isabelle Haigh (2), Janelle Straker (2), Lauren Smith, Kennedy
Wallace and Ellie Bartram all scored to keep their team three points ahead of Knowle, 2-0
winners away to Droitwich Spa thanks to Alice Belcher and Natalie Gibson. Stourbridge are
up to third following an eight-goal blast against Sedgley & Gornal Utd in which Ruby Meeson
(2), Alex Nicklin (2), Lili Beth Bown, Amy Plimmer, Hollie Somers and Courteney Murphy all got
on the scoresheet and goals from Dani Selmes (2) and Alysha Stanley earned Kidderminster
Harriers a 3-0 victory at Kingfisher to remain a third team with a 100% record.
