“Without doubt the trajectory of this game can only be even brighter and, together with the
Euronics Group and other partners of our programme, we will continue to strive to make an impact
on the elite end of the game through our top competitions, but also so that girls across Europe can
follow their dreams and play the sport they love.”
The basis of the partnership is the shared belief in the enormous potential of women’s football.
For the duration of this four-year commitment, the Euronics Group aims to support the growth of the
game by backing UEFA’s plan to cement football as the leading women’s team sport in Europe.
“This partnership is a key milestone for the Euronics Group,” said Hans Carpels, president of
Euronics GEIE. “We are excited to activate this UEFA partnership in our local communities with our
members, suppliers, and partners, while this will provide an opportunity for us to enhance the
       ‘beautiful game’ together.”
The Euronics Group’s sponsorship of UEFA women’s football will commence at the start of the
2021-22 season, where they will join fellow partners Visa, Pepsi, Just Eat Takeaway.com and Hublot.
“We are delighted and proud to be one of the trailblazing brands in supporting UEFA women’s
football at all levels” added John Olsen, managing director of Euronics Group. “This is an electrifying
moment in the evolution of the sport – and for our business. We are committed to the future of
women’s football, and we are excited in helping to accelerate the women’s game through this
       partnership”.
With their headquarters in Amsterdam, the Euronics Group has over 8,500 outlets in 37
different countries across Europe and Asia.

Sheffield United Women are delighted to confirm young midfielder
Tamara Wilcock will be staying at the club for the 2021-22 season.
The top scorer in the club’s development squad before the
academy season was curtailed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Wilcock
quickly stepped up to training with the first team and impressed
enough to be permanently brought into the squad late in 2020.
The 17-year-old midfielder featured in several matchday
squads throughout the season, culminating in her senior first team
debut away at Crystal Palace at the start of April.
Wilcock doesn’t turn 18 until October, but head coach Neil Redfearn
is delighted one of the club’s most talented youngsters has committed
       to staying.
“Tamara has made great strides this season and has already
made her first team debut. She is part of a group of really talented
young players who I expect to push for a place next season.
“She has great technique, an eye for goal and a really good physical dynamic which has
impressed in both training and games this season.”
Wilcock added: “I’m really grateful to have been given this opportunity at my age. Since
stepping up from the development team I’ve been able to challenge myself and it feels good to be
around the girls with more experience as they have really helped me develop as a player.
“I’ve enjoyed my football up to now and I’m really looking forward to continuing my journey
here at the club next season.”

Scotland will warm up for their 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualification campaign as they travel
to Northern Ireland and Wales for two friendly matches in early June.
Scotland will first travel to Belfast to take on Kenny Shiels’ Northern Ireland side on Thursday
10th June. They will then travel to Parc y Scarlets, Llanelli to take on a Wales side they last faced in
2017 in the Cyprus Cup, on Tuesday 15th June.
The matches will act as preparation for all three teams as they set their sights on their FIFA
World Cup Qualifying opening matches in September.
Stuart McLaren will lead the Scotland team as interim head coach, after being in charge in
February for the 10-0 win against Cyprus and narrow defeat to Portugal.
