East Midlands League
Lincoln Utd booked their place in the semi finals of the League Cup after narrowly getting
the better of Peterborough Utd in a nine-goal thriller. Lauren Churcher scored twice,
including an extra time winner, along with Abigail Murrell, Stephanie Powell and Kirsty
Dalzell, whilst the Posh Ladies replied through Megan Parrett (2), Laura Dodwell and
Hannah Pendred. Mansfield Town meanwhile edged past Derby County Academy 4-3,
courtesy of an Ellie Marshall brace, Natasha Leach and Jessica Parker. Emma Billenness,
Leah Cudone, Alex Bartlett, Francesca Partridge and Georgia Tear accounted for the goals as
Northampton Town defeated Beaumont Park 5-0 and Chesterfield were 4-0 victors
away to Notts County Development, thanks to a goal apiece from Gina Camfield, Millie
Standen, Samantha Stokes and Paige Singleton.
Oughtibridge WMSC won a goal laden tie 5-4 against Oadby & Wigston in the
League Plate quarter finals, Emily Fowler and Millie Kenyon each scoring twice and Annie
Longmore adding the other. Nikki Lidgett (2), Samantha Hargrave and Freya Gardner
replied for Oadby. Emily Slough netted the only goal of the game as Thrapston Town beat
Arnold Eagles 1-0, whilst Loughborough Students were 2-0 winners over Rise Park
thanks to Nnola Oyeka and Fatima Husein. Emily Wragg scored twice and Sophie Wilkinson
the other as Sherwood FC Women won 3-2 against St Josephs Rockware of
Worksop, whose replies came from Brooke Chapell and Sky Hughes.
Eastern Region League
Bedford Ladies made it four wins out of four in Group B of the Challenge Cup, going six
points clear at the top of the table when they defeated East Bergholt Utd 6-1.
In the other match to be played, Luton Town climbed into second place in Group
D on the back of a 5-2 victory over St Ives Town. Dionne Manning was on target twice for
Luton along with Jess McKay, Charlene Moreton and Olivia Abraham.
London & South East League
Dartford moved up into second place in Group A of the Spring Round Robin after scoring
six times without reply past Queen's Park Rangers. Elizabeth Adams netted twice for the
Darts along with Shauni Griffiths, Joanne Woodgates, Emily Vaughan and an own goal. Ella
Bonner and Saskia Philp scored for Dulwich Hamlet as they shared a 3-3 draw with
Eastbourne Town.
New London Lionesses have opened up a lead of three points in Group B after
recording a third straight win, 2-1 away to Clapham Utd. Kiz Fergus and Holly Newton
scored the goals for the Lionesses.
Ashford Ladies held onto the leadership of Group C as they defeated Whyteleafe
6-1. The win keeps them ahead on goal difference from Sutton Utd, who were 5-1 winners
away to Aylesford. Mika Keen was on target twice for Sutton, with Faye Butler, Cindy
Colliver and Sophie Hendy also getting on the scoresheet.
One match was played in Group D and it saw Lewes Foundation Squad go third
after scoring five times without reply past Parkwood Rangers, who remain one place
above them.
Lockdown Cup (South West)
Bristol Ladies Union staged a second half fightback to come from behind to beat
Almondsbury 3-1 in the Final at Oaklands Park.
The clash between the two group winners was as tight as expected but it was
Almondsbury who had the better of the first half as they settled down the quicker of the two
teams. The pace of Emma Summerill up front was troubling the Union defence at this stage
and this brought its reward three minutes before half time, when Union lost possession in
