To form parts of the boat, trees were pruned and forced to grow

               into various shapes many years before being cut.  This saved

               hand work which was kept to a minimum.  The Ring Fort has a

               stone age lathe.  I thought that might be interesting to my

                                                                                   husband since he

                                                                                   was a machinist in

                                                                                   his early career.


                                                                                   We finish up our

                                                                                   tour at the tea house

                                                                                   and drink tea and

                                                                                   munch on scones

                                                                                   and fruit cake which

                                                                                   was baked on the
                                                                                   premises in stone

                                                                                   ovens.  We are

               forced outside by

               the thick smoke

               from the peat fire

               in the teahouse.

               We are glad

               because it is nicer

               outside at a picnic

               table.
