missing on my passport. No one noticed till I was changing
money at the bank. We get better seats with empty space in
front of us for the emergency door. It is a smooth flight with no
screaming kids or men itching themselves half to death this
time.
We watch a movie “Awakening” and I find it more depressing
than I
remember
from the first
time I saw it.
We eat
chicken
dinner and
later a fruit
cake snack
with one last
cup of tea. I
don’t sleep
and read my
new book “Lightening” while M chats with the woman who sits
between us. She is American but lives in Ireland to raise her
kids. She says they spent summers in the U.S. Her husband
stays in the U.S. to work. Pretty strange setup but it must have
worked for she said they were about to celebrate their 30
th
anniversary. She says a woman from her village had been
healed of MS in a church and was now speaking about it to
groups. She hopes to bring her to America. She says it
happened in Knock and the Pub song came to mind about
“…the miracle down at Knock”.
