Mary Ann (M) is sitting on a window ledge and flags me down.
I check my bags and we get a half sandwich and cup of soup for
$14 each. WOW – airport prices are the pits!
After a slight delay and a baby barfing we get on the Aer Lingus
plane and finally got airborne. The pilot announces that it isn’t
8:59 p.m.; it is 2:59 a.m. Irish time. I guess I should be sleepy.
I think they are serving dinner. I can smell food. I’m telling M
about my so called security briefing and show her my little
security booklet. She thinks the part about not antagonizing
your captors would be good dating advice for teens. I’m in my
isle seat and M is in the middle and there is an Irish guy sitting
on the other side of her. He’s a musician I gather from the little
bits of his conversation I could hear and understand. He writes
