Well, it was more than I can stand and M is a good sport and

crosses her legs while I reload (Ektar 25) into my camera and

take about 3 shots, realize my film isn’t winding because the

camera isn’t shut right. I close it properly and take at least 4

more. I’m excited! Every road is a path to another jewel. We

stop in Clarecastle and take a shot of some row houses – all

with a chimney at each

side. Still have time to

kill so we go to Paddy

Burke’s Pub in

Clarenbridge and M

has a lager while the

designated driver (me)

has tea. They served it in a little teapot with a cup and saucer,

cream and sugar all on a matching round tray which is white
